Installation:

  1. Cut a 100mm diameter hole in substrate.
  2. Smooth down any loose or sharp edges and prime to prevent corrosion
  3. Place the rotary vent into the hole, making sure the EPDM UV stable O-ring is making full contact with the substrate. (Adhesive sealant can be applied behind the O-ring to prevent moisture egress).
  4. Working inside, select M8 20mm for thickness, 1mm - 1mm & M8 30mm for thickness 12mm - 20mm
  5. Working inside, place the bolt through the inner rose vent and screw into the rotary vents stainless steel threaded housing
  6. Once bolted in-place, clip the rose vent cover over the inner cover and adjust opening to your requirement.

Oversized Shipping

Some items are heavy and bulky, and for those oversized items with known shipping charges, we will display these rates in the checkout.

Other oversized items don't have a fixed shipping rate, so we'll provide you with a quote on the best rates and method to your location after we check with our range of specialist shipping partners.

Returns

In order to make a return the following points must be met.

  • Proof of purchase must be provided.
  • Item/s must be in original and unused condition.
  • All packaging must still be in original condition.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment and may take several working days to show in your account.
  • We will notify you when the refund has been made so that you can track funds.
  • Any postage charges incurred in the original transaction will not be refunded, unless we have incorrectly supplied an item.

Overly sensitive to install

Poor quality instructions with minimal information. I installed these on a customers canopy roof which was 25mm thick. The package comes with a foam ring but no reference to where it goes. If any tension on the mounting bolt the vent base distorts and doesn’t spin at all. I had to use a light strength loctite to keep the bolt in place as I couldn’t do the bolt up past touching, zero tension. The instructions say to use a sealant under the rubber seal but there was already random dots of silicone under it. Questionable.

Roof vent

Quality is good, I put it on my shed as I didn’t want a huge whirly bird, however it doesn’t spin with a normal breeze, so guessing it’s only good when its in a moving object 😏
