In order to make a return the following points must be met.

  • Proof of purchase must be provided.
  • Item/s must be in original and unused condition.
  • All packaging must still be in original condition.

  • Any postage charges incurred in the original transaction will not be refunded, unless we have incorrectly supplied an item.

There might be be others, but Carac is the only source of vintage gas line adaptors I could find

In the process of restoring a Vintage 1973 Chesney van I discovered the gas bottle connection had the opposite connection point to current models. It presents with a nut, not a ferrule. I started looking for the piece to make the adaption, thinking it would be easy. Supercheap has a good small range, but no. Buninongs likewise. Went to the plumbing chain in my town, who said "the only place you'll get that around here is this place in Newcastle. Tried that, no luck. Tried BBQ store, sorry but no. I had bought something from Carac previously, so I gave them a shot, and discovered they had a full range of fittings to allow any plumbing setup one might dream up. Carac may not be the only supplier of vintage caravan parts but they are the only one I could find. Well done!!
