Improve the performance of your Gas/Electric Absorption fridge by screening direct sunlight from wall vents. The screen reduces the effects of the sun on the wall and upper and lower vents by providing shade, without effecting air flow.

Many absorption fridges can suffer from reduced efficiency at high ambient temperatures. Two proven methods increase the efficiency , one is to increase airflow by installing a fan behind the fridge, the other is to ensure the fridge vents are in shade. Both methods compliment each other.

Screen to shade your caravan fridge vent & improve its performance.

Hot Weather!!!!!!

Have had previous experience with Caravans & Fridges that struggle to stay cold in extreme Summer temperatures.35+C A lot of the problem is about being able to disperse heat or move it to another area?? A new van and new ideas, protect the area where the Fridge / Freezer gets its air from to cool… from the direct sun!!
From under the Van would seem obvious .. but we haven’t got there yet??
Installed the "Caravan Fridge Screen” as an interim measure, at least the rear of the fridge Freezer, will be out of the direct Sun. Well packaged ,including ground spikes , easy to fit for the people who are able, reasonable price, should help greatly in reducing Fridge /Freezer temperatures when needed by keeping the sun of the Fridge side of the Van on really hot days? & easy to set-up.
